ENCO Powers Ahead in the Midst of Recession
Formed just over two years ago, when the mining boom was at its height, RSV ENCO Consulting (Pty) Ltd (ENCO), has more recently had to contend with the great commodities collapse ushered in by the credit crisis and financial crash of late 2008. It has taken both extremes of the market in its stride. As CEO Neels Engelbrecht says, "ENCO coped well with the over-heated conditions in mining in its first few months of operation, building up an excellent order book without over-extending. Since the onset of the downturn, we have managed to continue growing despite activity in the mining industry dropping off sharply."
